Organise your upcoming event within a unique venue in Venice: in our 15th century palace located in Campo San Fantin. The building houses Renaissance and Baroque works of art and represents a special and versatile setting for exhibitions, conferences, series of meetings, round tables, debates, concerts, training courses, book presentations, award ceremonies and special events such as cocktails and private dinners.
For some time, in collaboration with the Biennale of Venice, the Ateneo Veneto also hosts important art exhibitions.
Four monumental rooms/halls are available set within rich historical-artistic settings that ensures full modern day technology and functionality. The staff is experienced and competent, ready to provide qualified support for any technical, logistic and organisational need.
The Ateneo Veneto is centrally located within the centre of the City of Venice, near to the Fenice Theatre and is a five minute walk to St Mark’s Square and ten minutes to the Rialto Bridge.

Its splendid ceiling was painted by Jacopo Palma il Giovane and is one of the many features that gives this setting a character of sumptuous elegance.

The Vittorio Cini Room
Realised in the 1600’s, this venue houses canvases painted by Jacopo Palma il Giovane, Alessandro Longhi and Francesco Fontebasso.

The Niccolò Tommaseo Room
Named after the famous patriot and scholar, this venue is nestled in a harmonious setting, decorated with prestigious paintings and a magnificent ceiling made by Antonio Zanchi.

The Library
The staircase made by Vittoria, leads to the Reading Room of the Library which surrounds visitors within wall paintings realised by Paolo Veronese and Jacopo Tintoretto.

Facilities
Exhibition space available in square metres: Auditorium – 160 m² + adjoining rooms 235 m² = for a total of 410,70m².
Exhibition materials and works of art can be easily transported from the canal bank to the water entrance located in front of the Secretariat at 1892 Calle Minelli.
On the front facade of the building, advertising banners, previously authorised by the Superintendency of Archaeological, Fine Arts and Landscape for Venice and its Lagoon can be hung/displayed.
